I actually don't frequent TK very often. After getting married, my month board and I defected to Proboards because of all the glitches. I do, however, enjoy lurking on TK Chit Chat board and TN TIP and Pets boards.

I figured I would head over and introduce myself since, technically, I'm living the married life. That said, my husband and I celebrated our year anniversary yesterday. We have a menagerie of furbabies who I talk about far too often. I'm terribly sarcastic and an all around terrible person. And for some reason TN is telling me that sarcastic is spelled wrong and that annoys me.

So.... hi!

My board on TK was talking about going to a Proboard, but it didn't happen.  We instead have all been spending our time on a FB group and FB chat.   But I like the feel of a good board, so I came here to check it out.

I definitely recommend Proboards if you're still thinking about it. We got really close at a group so it's been nice to have a private forum where we don't really have to worry about what we're saying. It's gotten a lot more... open. lol

Oooooh ... I like the sound of that.  Privacy is the reason I've been posting more on our FB group instead of TK.  Do you have to be invited?  I'd like to check it out before committing.

As far as the centering thing goes... I have no idea what I did! I'll check out my siggy code in a minute to see if I have anything extra.

With Proboards, essentially when you set up the account you can set up how private it is. With ours you have to register your information, then it has to be approved by an admin. It's so nice! A little tricky to figure out how to post pictures and siggys at first though.

 Yep, unless you get an invite. Essentially our admins PMed everyone that was interested with a link to the sign up page. From there you just sign up for the forum rather than having to create a forum.

I'm so terrible at all this formatting, code stuff. It's shocking that I even have a picture in my sig. Although it did take me somewhere around a year to be that cool.

 I have still not figured out how exactly to get a pic on my sig, so I am working on being cool, although it may never happen, LOL.

Not really.  Since our anniversary is on a Monday, we will just go out to dinner Saturday night before.  I have 4th of July week off work, and we are planning to go to GA for a few days to see H's son and granddaughter if we can arrange it.

 Still trying to plan a honeymoon LOL.  Not easy with two kids at home.

Sookie - I'd come over, but I'm not a parent! Well... I have furry babies but it's not quite the same.

 Abbey - We had a Monday anniversary too. Definitely not too fun, but we celebrated a couple weekends prior. Your week off sounds fun though! Definitely can't complain about that.

Good luck with your honeymoon planning. I can imagine how tough it would be with kids involved!
