Can you please explain/recommend BB cream to me?!

What does it do? And what are some good brands you have tried? Any to stay away from?

I know this isn't the most exciting question in the world but thanks for reading/answering!

SAIF/PAIF is ALWAYS welcome to respond to my posts!

Re: Can you please explain/recommend BB cream to me?!

  • Ha! As you can see I had the same question. As I understand it (I have one but haven't tried it yet) it's kind of an all around cream. A light coverage/moisturizer/sun coverage/soothing beauty balm or blemish cream. Different brands will have have slightly different claims or uses, but it's supposed to be a great product, depending on the brand (I've heard mixed reviews about the Garnier version, which is getting heavily promoted-lots of commercials-in my area).

     Hope that helps!

  • Well I just bought my first bb cream last week and I REALLY like it! I got the TooFaced one from Sephora in Nude Glow.  Yeah, it's a great all-in-one product for your face like pp said.  This one has 20 SPF which is a real plus, gotta have that SPF! Also, it's light, blends amazingly, and has a super nice glow.  I suggest going to Sephora and trying some before buying one.

  • I really like Holika Holika for full coverage. the moisturizing version has spf 30! and skinfood for coverage. Both are Korean and available on Amazon. I recently tried the stila one at a store and thing I might try it when o run out, but it is more expensive than getting Asian ones even after paying shipping.

  • Just like posts above mentioned, it's a face cream that serves all purposes...plus  more coverage than a TM. I just bought the Too Faced and love it! Primer, moisture, spf, and coverage all in one.
  • I use the AM cream from Rodan and Fields and I LOVE IT!!! It has 30 spf and also gives your skin peptides which adds to your skin and removes wrinkles. I am obsessed with it and you can try it risk free cause they offer your money back if it is not what you want!!!! CAN'T beat that! I am a preferred customer  (PC PERKS)and get free shipping and 10% off. Worth a try!

  • Read my blog about Rodan & Fields and how the consultants exploit Facebook and use these over-enthusiastic, manipulative tactics to get people interested in joining!  They mostly focusing on recruiting "business partners" to buy a $995 kit (which consultants receive a commission from of $100 or more) and do not really care about selling the product.
