Poll: Wait time at polls

Did you ladies vote today?  If so, how long did you have to wait?

Re: Poll: Wait time at polls

  • Robert and I got up at 6:30 and got to the polls around 6:45.  There were probably about 30 people in front of us, but the line got a lot longer shortly after we got there.  We were done and walking out the door by 7:30, so it really wasn't bad at all.
  • I voted absentee because it would have been a nightmare with Noah crying in the stroller. DH got to the polls just before 7:00 and was out the door by 7:30 so he didn't have to wait long at all.
  • Eric and I went today about 12:30 and we were sitting at a local restaurant by 1.  It wasn't bad at all!
  • I went at 10 am and was out by 10:15.  Husband went around 5ish and he said he got in and out right away.

The election worker told me though that people starting waiting at 6am and by 7 when they opened, they had about an hour wait.

  • I went at about 6:00 and was in and out in about 10 minutes. I didn't have to wait at all. Can't wait for the results!
  • We waited about 5 minutes..this was at 11:30 today.
  • 5 minutes... and that counts signing the thing that says I'm me and getting my ballot. We went at 6:30 this evening. I was voter #1280 :o)

  • You all SUCK!!!!!

I went during my lunch hour (1pm) and there was a line with estimated wait time of 2 hours.  So I left and went back at 6pm.  I waited for 1.5 HOURS!!  And to top it off, there was this lady that was like "what do you mean get in that other line, I was already at the front of the line" .  Well the line she go to the front of was the sign in/show ID line.  She still had to go to the get your ballot line.  But the little old lady working the polls was like "oh, I'm sorry" and they let her go ahead and cut in front of 50 people to vote.  I thought there was going to be some fightin'!  I knew, as did others around me, that she was WAY behind us in line.  what a biatch!  you may be in a hurry to go home and feed your 100 cats, but I have a baby at home waiting to be fed...Gaaa!

  • Ron and I went at 4 pm.  The line was long and we figured it would take us a couple hours.  We were out the door by 5pm!  Everything was smooth and easy.  No issues.
