favorite summer dates with DH
So DH and I have considered going on a vacation, but we are hesitant to spend money at the moment. This has led me to try to come up with fun date days or nights that are not a ton of money (I am not against spending anything, just want to watch the budget overall). We often times want to do things but cannot think of any ideas. DH is not a fan of being in big crowds.
What are your favorite summer dates? I would love some ideas.
Re: favorite summer dates with DH
Our favorite date is to go to the drive in. We have 2 within about 40 minutes of our place. We make sandwiches, get snacks, and drinks and spend the whole evening there. While waiting for the movie to start we eat and play games.
do you have a beach near you or a lake? DH and I used to like to go get Subway and take it to the beach and eat and lay out for a while or bbq at the beach. We also like hiking and going to baseball games.
and I love eating out when theres an outdoor patio!

RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.
What about outdoor markets, renting a kayak for the afternoon, fishing, taking in some smaller festivals in your area (music, food, etc), explore museums, gardens, historical sites that may not be as much fun in colder weather
