Master closet in bathroom....
Hello! I just married a moth ago (hooray!) but we bought our house around Christmas. Now that the wedding is over we actually have time for the house and it's quirks. It's a bungalow built in the 20's and I'm a little baffled about what to do with the 3 whole closets we have, but mainly the master bedroom one. It's in the barroom, and the bathroom door swings right, blocking access to the closet. Can't tell you how frustrating it is when husband dearest leaves his closet side open and the doors collide. The closet doors are those out fold doors. Any solutions? I was considering getting sliding doors that glide to the side but I don't think mirrors would look nice. Any suggestions?
Re: Master closet in bathroom....
Ditto PP. Pocket doors don't have to be mirrored.
Also, if you do this and there is an outlet (or switch) in the wall you slide into, you will lose it since the box for it will need to be moved (or relocated) to accomodate the door as it comes into the wall (in the open position).
