getting started on buying a foreclosure
I am looking to buy a foreclosure. There are many in my area through various websites, but many of them you have to sign up for and/or pay for. Are there any sites out there that I should definitely avoid?
Are there any ways to find more information and get the process rolling? Any information would be appreciated!

Don't pay for any of those sites!!! Most are scams - or have the same information any realtor in the area will have anyways.
You can also go to www.homepath.com
or www.hudhomestore.com
all the homes on those sites are foreclosures.
