hey, i just got your e-mails. my sister's gf is doing ok. she's coughing a lot and her doctor is trying to get her surgery moved up but right now everything is in a holding pattern.
i'm doing ok. stressed, but ok. the court date was yesterday. she got a fine and 15 days from the offense of no driving at all, and then she'll have to go back to get her license. the judge already approved reinstatement for work purposes, so it's a formality, and he waived a good portion of the fine. she can only drive for work for the rest of the 180 day (6 month) sentence, which was the legal minimum. she'll be able to get full driving priviledges after that, so the very end of april. they did drop the speeding charge, though; wasn't that nice of them? :-P
