need non-clay cat litter suggestions
For years we've used Fresh Step clumping litter for multiple cats. But I'm not a fan of the smell or of finding small clumps of clay near the litter box. We've recently tried Swheat litter, but it doesn't control the ordor well enough. So, I am looking for suggestions. Eco-friendly and not crazy expensive is a plus.

arm and hammer has a natural litter, I think it's corn based. I used it for a while, but you need to do a full dump and clean more often than I like, to control the pee smell. My grandmother swears by feline pine, but I'm not really a big fan of that stuff.
I've heard good things about world's best, too.
