50 shades of grey

Just finished the first book. All I can say is WOW! lol. I love this book. This is my first book I have ever read of its kind and I must say I am hooked. I already ordered the second one. Just thought I would share my crazy choice of books as of now. =)

Re: 50 shades of grey

  • I had heard many mixed reviews so I went ahead and bought it. I'm glad I did!I really liked it. Can't wait to read the 2nd one!
  • I didn't really like the first one very much but bought the 2nd one any way.  The second is far better.

  • I dont normally read a lot but I read all three books in 10 days lol. I sell Pure Romance and it has increased my business tremendously! We even launched 6 new products that are featured in the book lol
  • I heard you shouldn't read #1 without #2 handy because you want to keep reading.

It is interesting reading, but scary. I think is is amazing that people could behave like that.

  • See I don't get how the second or third is "better" than the first. They're all the same book, they have sex then she's neurotic. Sex, neurotic. I had to quit reading them. People kept saying they were so amazing, and I just kept trying. If the story ends with a meteor killing all of the vapid characters I'd consider that a win.
  • I'm 3/4 of the way through book one, and am I the only one that thinks Ana is a twat?  She seriously hadn't seen enough Lifetime movies not to get a serial killer vibe off that dude from the get go.

  • I hated the first part of book 1 but only kept reading since I had already bought it on my nook.  Glad I did...I enjoy the second book much more than the first.  I'm not that far into the third, it's "meh" so far.

  • I agree. Book one, I thought how can they get 3 books out of this. I am in the middle of book 2 and it is much better. I guess I will have to wait until book 3 to have an opinion on that. I think that book 2 at least gives much more info about Mr. Grey. As a parent, this series of books is pretty scary about what can happen to a young woman. I am sure if you are much younger than me it is still worth thinking about.
