I am a nervous wreck
I am terrified about Prop 8. I actually feel like today my life with S is under attack. I know I can't do much about it anymore but.. ugh.
My stomach is in knots, I am antsy, AF is making me weepy and we are almost out of Halloween candy. I think it's going be a loooong day.

IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)

finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
It was a long day today for me. The kids all are excited and there was a lot of conversation today. I had a little palin fit (I know I shouldn't have) in one of my classes. I explained to the kids about her stance on gay marriage and how this effects my life. They were really great. When I was explaining some of the rights that I don't have in non gay marriage states they were really shocked. One kid said "they can't do that you are family." I had to explain that in most states S and I are not considered related. He responded well that is stupid she is your wife.
If it makes any of you feel better the polls are closed for 6-8 graders in Newton Ma and it was an overwhelming victory for Obama.
Now I wait!
I feel nervous and anxious but I can't even imagine how CA residents must feel. I am keeping my fingers crossed because the outcome of prop. 8 will effect so many people and would be such a set back in this progress forward!
I can't wait to vote, go home make a great dinner and sit in front of the TV all night drinking wine watching the numbers go up...We will be glued to CNN.
