Whatcha Reading

I'm reading The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein

Also just finished Let's Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson and it was absolutely HYSTERICAL!  I didn't want it to ever end.

I'm reading What Dies In Summer by Tom Wright.  Just some random book I picked up at the library and I only picked it because it was brand new, never touched.  Yes, I will take pretty much any book from the library if it hasn't been read by anyone else.  I like when they're new :)

Oh and I recently read The Doverkeepers by Alice Hoffman and found that really interesting and different from the typical novels.
  • I was going through some of the free books that I had downloaded on my Kindle. I just finished Bicoastal Babe by Cynthia Lagston which wasn't bad. I'm now reading All She Ever Wanted by Barbara Freethy which has caught my attention to keep reading also.

Sometimes the freebies are actually good, but aren't books that I would have read otherwise.

Jezzabella, I like some of the random freebies from the Kindle too.  I figure if I start them and they're terrible I can just delete :)  They aren't the best books in the world, but some of them are entertaining.

then you would def. like the Jenny Lawson book... she is the new more hysterical Jen Lancaster!  I just downloaded Jeneration X but I'm going to wait a few to read it because it might sizzle compared to what I just read.

  • I too just finished Jenny Lawson's book.  GO GET A COPY!  Hysterical, sweet, just great.  I laughed and giggle-snorted so much on the train no one wanted to sit next to me.  SCORE!

Yesterday I finished Catch me by Lisa Gardner. Good read.

Now I am reading a christian book series, first installment is called Leaving. I needed a feel good read after Catch me.

sometimes all you really need in life is a pink wig.
