Hey everyone!
I'm newly married (June 2012) and new to the nest. I was on the knot but was so busy with wedding stuff that I mostly just lurked. I'm hoping to be a little more active here! It hasn't quite sunk in that I'm married yet so I'm hoping it will at some point
Re: Introduction
Hi! Welcome and Congrats on the wedding

Hi there. My wedding was last year in June as well and I have been lurking on this and a few other Nest boards ever since - haha. Nice to meet you, and congrats on your marriage. :-)
Hi! Thank you!
We live in Maryland, close to Baltimore.
We do have 2 furbabies (which I read at first to be Furbies and couldn't figure out why that was relevant lol) DH has a yellow lab who turns a year old tomorrow. He got him after we got engaged because, as I found out, he was not kidding when he said, "When you get your ring, I get my dog." Then in December we rescued a kitten and his name is Ritz. DH never wanted a cat but he couldn't turn him down. Our neighbor found him near her work when some kids were trying to set him on fire. He's the sweetest little thing.
I also have a 7 year old daughter from a previous relationship.
Where are you from?
Awww...poor kitty! Your lab sounds adorable!
I am from NJ and we have a Japanese chin (in my siggy) who will be 3 in January.

Hi! I'm newly married also (May 2012), and it still feels so unreal, but in a good way. We are high school sweet hearts, and got married on our 4 year anniversary. I think it really hasn't set in yet because it doesn't feel much different. We felt married long before we tied the knot, especially since we were living together for almost two years, so it wasn't really much of a change, but it's nice to be official.
I also married in June 2012. My husband and I married on the 7yr anniversary of our first date. We have two fur children : a black cat with diabetes, and a rescue dog who is a lab/boxer mix.
We want to have children but are not ready for that life change yet. We are thinking we may have children in the next few yrs.
We live in Southern Louisiana. We bought a house a year ago, so being married doesn't feel so different. I am guessing that is a good thing, meaning that we were ready for the change of marital status
