Re: HDBD
31 weeks from Monday and I'm officially measuring small according to my doctor yesterday. If I measure small again in 2 weeks we'll be headed for a growth u/s.
24 weeks yesterday! Had a good appointment yesterday and heard Baby Girl's strong heartbeat! Apparently she and I are both going through a growth spurt... after gaining only 6 lbs in the first 19 weeks, I gained NINE pounds in the past 5 weeks...yikes!!
Looking great! Don't worry about the weight, I've had weeks before where I've gained 4 lbs in ONE week! I'm up 28 lbs and still measuring small...
Thanks Yvonne and Tara! You both made me feel better about the weight thing. I had a complete meltdown about it yesterday on the way home from the doctor. (We'll blame it on the hormones).
Yvonne, you look fantastic too! I can't believe you're down to single digits!!
You ladies look great!
I averaged about a pound a week until the end... then it was a little more. But I ended up gaining 46 lbs for a 6 lb baby.
You both look fabulous Marisa, and Yvonne!

Yvonne, how far behind are you measuring? I'll be 31 weeks Friday and measured 29 weeks yesterday but they don't seem concerned. Wyatt always measured small as well, which kind of goes to show how accurate they are lol.
Marisa, you look great as usual! I've been gaining weight a lot faster this time than last and those numbers are not fun to see on the scale! I agree with everyone else though, I wouldn't worry too much about it
Here I was on Sunday at 30+2
I was 31+1 yesterday at my appt and was measuring just around 30, he said he would "give" me 30, I think I was around 29.5 or so. He didn't seem too concerned, but just said if I was behind again we'd go for an ultrasound. I've read +/- 1 week is usually the normal variance. Then again, Tony and I aren't big people, we're both pretty short, so I'm not expecting a super long, 11 lb baby, especially since Tony was only 5 lbs 6 oz at birth and I was big at 8 lbs 2 oz. But like you said, their measurements seem to be off quite a bit when doing their ultrasounds and whatnot. Two weeks ago at 29 weeks on the dot I had a growth ultrasound to check my placenta and they said baby was measuring on target and 2 lbs 12 oz if their measurements can be trusted. He also said it could just be baby is way down low and that's accounting for the minor discrepancy, which at the ultrasound baby was super low and head down according to the tech. I wouldn't be opposed to a freebie u/s though in 2 weeks if I continue to measure behind
Just remember how off they were with Landon! They thought he wasnt growinh and was only going to be 5-5.5 lbs and 16-17 inches based in their fancy technology and made him come out early...and he was born 19 inches and 6lb 4oz.
Yup, I always think of that now. So I'm basically taking what they say with a grain of salt. I do want the u/s though, just so we can try for 3D again and have the insurance cover it!
