Re: Who's got a drinking game for tonight?
There is a bar in town that is supposedly giving out free shots each time a state goes blue. I assume those will be mini shots in those tiny plastic glasses.
For the '06 midterms, we got those pre-mixed Bacardi drinks, one red and one blue. Each time a Senate or governor's race was called, we drank the appropriate color. Since they are about the same alcohol percentage as wine, we didn't get too drunk too fast. You could do a shot of the appropriate color each time a state is called. For fun, you could throw some key Senate races in. And there should be some chugging involved if that batshit crazy woman Michelle Bachmann loses her congressional seat.
I got this in an email from a friend:
Polls will start closing on the East Coast at 6pm Central time. I will begin drinking at this time. The general idea is that shot 1 is when the first polls close. There are then 50 states to call. 1 shot (or other drink) to be drunk for each state incorrectly called. For those who correctly call Missouri, you get to pass on a drink for your next incorrect call.
