Will this bring my credit score down?
How did you guys deal with the situation of changing your last name while looking for a house to buy? I'm afraid to put my name on his bank account or put our cars on one policy because I'm afraid it'll bring my credit score down. The reason I worry so much about it is because my credit score is right on the cut off line for financing with USDA. Am I worrying too much? Would it be considered adding/opening an account in my name if I do those two things?

My bank offers a credit score monitoring, so i signed up right after we got married (before I officially changed my name), and the name changing didn't affect it at all.
