Carpet Tape
Hi Everyone....any assistance you can provide is appreciated.
So I've been trying to find the perfect area rug for my living room...and haven't been successful. I have however found a bath rug that looks 'great'....so I'm wondering if there's a way to make an area rug out of the bath rugs. I've heard a little about 'carpet tape'....any ideas how I can make this work is greatly appreciated.
Carpet tape...anything else? Has anyone used it before?

Do you mean seam tape? Are you looking to attach the rugs together to create one large rug?
Seam tape requires a special iron to melt the glue. Also, you have to cut the carpet and have perfectly straight cut edges to seam them. Carpet installers use a row finder to find the row and it has a blade to cut a straight line. It can also be acheived by using a straight edge and a utility knife.
