generic prenatal vitamins

No, I am not pg!

My insurance plan just upped the price of the ones I was taking forever. Since I'm only going to stay on them through BF-ing, I want to switch to a lower cost option.

Anyone have any bad experiences with Target brand? They seem to be the most cost effective. Other suggestions welcome as well.

Re: generic prenatal vitamins

  • I used Target brand pre natals with both babies and now target brand regular women multi vitamin. They aren't coated like some are so they taste gross like vitamins do but without the morning sickness, I think you can handle it

  • I love the Target brand.  The prescription prenatals made me nauseous, so I switched to Target while TTC Charlie and still use them

  • Another vote for the Target brand ones here.  I've used them from the beginning while TTC Aisling and haven't had any issues.

  • I buy the gummy prenatals from Target, they are good and don't make me sick.
  • I have not tried Target... I take GNC brand.

  • I didn't take the Target ones, I used the whole food brand ones and I really liked them. Too bad we're so far away I could get them to you since I have a practically new bottle.

  • I was on the Target brand after DS, before I got KU again.  They totally fine and get the job done.  The only reason my doc switched me with the pregnancy was that I am hypocalcemic (low calcium) and there are a couple of prescription brands that have extra.

  • I get mine at The Viatmin Shoppe. They have less filler and have more of all the good stuff.

And no, I'm not taking them bc I'm pg. I just take them bc they're good for you.
