My husband and I purchased our first home about a month ago. We're getting a painter to come in and paint the place. I assume the job will take a few days. It's a pretty small condo. Anyway, how does it work as far as staying home goes. Do people usually stay home while the painters are working or do I give them a key? I can probably work from home a few days if needed, but was wondering what the protcol is for this sort of thing.
Re: Painters
We are having our place painted next week. It will take three days. They are painting all of the baseboards and crown molding along with the foyer, living room, stairwell, upstairs loft, and our bedroom.
One person has to stay home with the crew.
