What equipment would I need to start P90x?
I'd like to try an intense home fitness program but can't spend a ton of money. Can you tell me what you needed for P90x? TIA!

just hand weights, they provide a cable.
Three of the 12 workouts use the pull up bar. I'm a beachbody coach too (haven't done P90X) but you definitely will need a pull up bar along with weights or resistance bands.
Have you looked into ChaLEAN Extreme or Insanity? They are awesome! I do all my work outs at home too and need to watch my budget. They do not disappoint. My blog is in my siggy if you want to see how ChaLEAN is working for me (doing that now).

You definitely do NOT need a yoga mat. We used the floor just fine. We needed a towel a time or two to put under our knees, but that's it. And my package didn't include a "cable". I'm not even sure what a cable is...
Pull up bar would be the least expensive option for those workouts, but since I was so far away from doing a pull up, we went the exercise band route, and that worked double duty for the pull ups, as well as the regular weight lifting. Otherwise, you'll also need hand weights/bands as well.
