I used the regular, on my iphone.   It was ok.  It keeps charts & everything,  but the predicted dates were always a little off for me (and my cycle is/was & always has been 27 days,  with the exception of 2 or 3 times in my life when it was shorter- usually after majorly stressful events).

 I used ovulation prediction kits for two months to get some idea in addition to temperature & other things. I used both expensive & cheapo ones, and the cheapo ones detected the LH surge earlier than the expensive ones (cheap detected morning, night, next morning, while the expensive one detected only the night one).  I got stressed out one of the months- completely- b/c I was trying to time everything.  The next month,  I had the attitude that "if it happens, it happens"... and it did!

I use the regular.  Every once in a while I get a free upgrade for a few days.  It just is not worth paying money, in my opinion.

How much does it cost?  IMO it would be better to spend the money on OPKs.  You can get them for a dollar at dollar tree or buy a huge pack online (I think amazon sells them).

Right now they have a special going for $25 for a 1 year subscription. i think that is a great deal. I can tell you the few times I've gotten the VIP for a free week trial, I liked it so much better but we never had the money to spend on a longer subscription.

If you are going to for sure take your temperature and stuff it might be worth it. 

 

Oh and I totally agree on the using OPK's. I used it this past cycle, and I am now pregnant  I suggest buying Wondfo's online. You can get 50 of them for only $13 or so.

I used the free version online and on my phone.  I didn't switch to the app on my phone until Feb. or March but I didn't have a smart phone till January.  I don't know about the VIP status or how it is different.

I did use OPKs and they never detected ovulation.  I used them for months and I used different brands.  I had spent enough money so I personally stopped using them.  I stressed for a couple of months too.  I temped from almost three weeks after I went off BC until my MC.  The month I temped and we did the BD every other day on cycle days 12-14-16 is the month I got pregnant.  (After trying for five months.)  I liked temping because my friend said you can tell your pregnant by the temps.  (Your temp stays raised after ovulation if you are pregnant and you don't have the significant drop. Mine dropped 2-3 tenths when I was, but never dropped a whole temp.  Once in an earlier month it dropped a little and my friend said if it dropped you aren't and she said that the month I was pregnant.  But I knew I was because my temp stayed over 98 and before it had always dropped back to 97 point something.)
