Intro :D

I was just married on May 19, 2012 and am loving it! My husband and I were high school sweethearts, and got married on our 4 year anniversary. We were living together for two years prior to marriage, so there hasn't been any crazy adjustments after marriage so far. Everything has just fallen into place and felt right. :)

We also just bought a house (we actually moved in the day we got back from our honeymoon!). It is a gorgeous 3b 2b home and we are finding how different it is to be a homeowner than living in an apartment.

We have three "children", our dogs. We have a 3 year old Jack Russell Mix named Milo, a 2 year old Chiweenie named Riley, and we just recently added a little girl to our family. She is a two month old German Shepard.

I am just curious to see if anyone else shares the same experiences as me, and would like to just meet other wives. :)

Also, I live in California and am 21 years old. :)

Re: Intro :D

  • Welcome and congratulations (on the wedding AND the house)! So exciting!

This is the second time I've heard the breed, "chiweenie".  I think it's so funny! Do you have any pictures?! My oldest is a dachshund/terrier mix, so she's really long, but tall! Such a funny mix, but I do think the weenie mixes are the cutest dogs!

  • I don't have a picture. :( He is really cute though. He is really short and long, with big ears. He's still such a puppy too. He loves to be with me and follows me wherever I go. I think my hubby is disappointed that he attached to me because he's the one that picked him out when we adopted him from the shelter, but our new little girl has definitely attached to him. She LOVES him, and follows him around like crazy and whines when he leaves. It's really sweet, and funny how they attach to one person versus another.
