Hi! I just wanted to stop in and make the official intro! DH and I are just married, (June 2 2012). We're in our early 20s. Been together 4 years, and have 1 furbaby, Banjo. He's a 2 year old PomxChixPoodle. I'm a hairstylist/salon manager, and he works for a large international oil company. We live in Alberta, Canada.
Anything else, just ask?
Re: Intro
Congrats! I just got married on May 19th, and my hubby and I were together also for 4 years before marriage and are both 21. We have three dogs, our babies. The oldest is 3, his name is Milo and is a Jack Russell mix. Our middle "child" is 2, his name is Riley and he is a Chiweenie. The newest edition is only 3 months old and her name is Athena, and she is a German Sheperd.
We live in California. I am a Community Outreach Coordinator at a Cancer Resource Center, and my hubby is a material handler for an electrical company.
I hope your wedding was everything you hoped for!
What were your color choices?
Hi! I have been married for 2 weeks as of today. My husband and I are in our 30s. It is both our first marriage and we have no children (yet). We have a black cat with diabetes and a rescue dog who is a chocolate lab/boxer mix. They have actually gotten quite cordial with one another over the past year.
My husband is a manager for a department store and I am starting a new job as a merchandiser for various grocery stores in our city.
We live in Southern Louisiana.
We had an outdoor wedding and the weather was very sunny and hot but no one let it ruin their fun. I provided hand fans for our guests. They loved them!
Our colors were orginally just black and red but he thought it might look gothic. So, I added in peacock feather accents as well as turquoise blue hand fans and paper lanterns (centerpieces), and purple flowers and herbs along with a touch of turquoise green. There were also green herbs everywhere. Sounds like alot of color but it worked well together
