Our dish saga has come to an end!
So during our engagement, I obsessed over which dishes to register for. When I went away to college, I was given a hand me down partial set of Corelle. It was a partial set to begin with, and I broke a few plates...so I've literally been down to 5 plates and like 4 bowls for the past couple of years, and I figured I could hold out a little longer until the wedding came around.
I held off on buying dishes after we moved into our house because I figured that was a traditional wedding gift, but apparently not because we didn't get a single place setting between 2 wedding showers and the wedding itself! So I guess all that back & forth didn't really matter.
Anyways, H and I went to BB&B today to pick out a set once and for all. I am SO excited to not only have a nice set of dishes, but to have more than 5 plates!! We ended up getting a different set than we registered for because they were less pricey.
They are the Lenox Organics Stoneware, and we got them in white (not the color in the picture). I think they are a better fit for our kitchen anyways (although the kate spade pattern we picked out originally is still gorgeous!).
Best part is, we paid for them entirely using BB&B store credit/gift cards and the money I've gotten for selling all my wedding crap. Hooray!

Glad you got some! We didn't get any plates and stuff for our wedding either. Thank heavens his grandmother gave me some for Christmas and My Birthday.
