I have decided today is over...

Ever have one of those days where nothing is going right, and you want to just park yourself on the couch with fleece jammas and a glass of wine.... that would be where I am heading after 5 today! Yes Mam! Today is almost over.... holy moly!!!!! Angry

Re: I have decided today is over...

  • oh man do i ever have those days.... can you have some wine for me since i cant????  pretty please cayla!!!!!
  • I was hoping to rally around 4pm and head to Hannaford again - but it didn't happen for me.  Enjoy your wine, sweetie!  I am going to make a homemade low sodium pizza and drown my sorrows in that!!  (PS - I am already in the jammas...!!)
  • HAHAHA.... Kim whatever is left of the bottle, I will have for you! :-)
  • Kristin... low sodium pizza sounds very yummy! I'm making "left-over" sandwiches, with turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce most likely toasted in the george. Yeah- I'm guessing that is not so low sodium??? :-( Doesn't cranberry sauce have like 12008982098 calories per spoonful? Something crazy like that!
  • Oh, Cayla - you are killing me.  :)

First, if it's deli turkey, we're talking about 800-1000mg/serving - no lie.

Then, the bread - at least 100-200mg/slice.

Stuffing - oh Lord, bread plus seasonings? You know there's salt in the seasonings - so let's not go there.

And I have no idea about the cranberry sauce, but since companies make a "low-sodium" version, that's not a good sign - LOL!

Pretty much, that's more than my allowance for the whole day in a sandwich - with no sides allowed and no milk to drink!  Milk is about 125mg/cup.

Isn't this fun!?!  I'll just stick with the wine.  :)  0mg.

Whoa. ?I had no idea!! ?I am going to start paying much more attention to sodium intake. ? Ugh, and to think I used to put salt ON my pizza.

I barely got dressed today and never took Ben out of his jammies.?

  • Hell, have a martini for me. Today's my birthday and I've been dealing with a sick baby and an inept nurse at her pedi's office! Enjoy your evening!
  • I want wine.  But my friend Laura and I opened the only bottle of white we had on Sunday afternoon and finished it that same night.  I am a wino..
  • Yeah well so much for that idea.... I'm now stuck at the laundry mat since I forgot I have no pants for work tomorrow! WTF! Maybe tomorrow... Crying
  • I'm a wino too! Enjoy your wine and relax time! Sucky days SUCK!
