We Closed On Our House!
So after a long day of moving stuff from our college apartments, and having to wait for the sellers to move out last minute (until 8:30 pm!!) We are in our house!
Closing was a breeze with the bank, but the sellers were just SO slow! They had nothing in boxes, and were not prepared to move out, which is beyond me! And they left some of their crap in the house; so weird!!
But we are in, and excited to start painting!

I had to giggle a little when I read the last line because I don't remember the last time I was excited to paint - it feels like a chore

I wish we didn't have to paint, but it is a MUST!
The upper level is mint green, and the lower level is sherbert orange!!
Congratulations!!! That's so awesome! When we sold our house and closed on the new one (same day) we were out the night before closing and we left the house spotless. The new house was relatively spotless. They did leave a few things, like paint (which has come in handy, atcually). So, I am surprised the people you bought the house from weren't gone at the time of closing. I think it was in our contract, actually.

Congratulations!! I remember being so excited about moving and unpacking, so weird I know, but the thought of having our own home just made everything so much more exciting. I was also excited to start painting but once the work actually started I wasn't quite as excited
