My request seemed simple - One roman shade for my bathroom. Flat. Luxe/silk fabric. Cordless.
Something like this comes to mind:

I've search through PB, RH, ballard designs, jc penney, overstock, smartbargains, ikea, etsy and a ton others who only had panels and not roman shades.
Closest I came was with Smith + Noble and a site called the shade store, totaling $400-500 for ONE SHADE, in fabrics that I only liked. I should love it for that price. West Elm has one that is OK. I'd like to spend ~$200.
I've searched through all my blog feeds but can't find a source for the shades that I like the most.
Help.
Any other resources you can think of that take custom, roman shade orders?
+ I'd really, REALLY rather not DIY. I have too much going on right now. And I want it to look nice. But if you have a recommendation for a good quality, cordless roman shade kit maybe I'll find a pro...
TIA!
Re: Quest for Roman Shades: Help!
Check Etsy or local seamstresses on CL. DO NOT USE Kona Interiors aka Quality Custom Designs. I'm on my phone, so I can't link, but if you google, you'll find my review of them and others.

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
I ruled out Lowes and Home Depot based on fabric options but I have a great lead through an etsy vendor and found Calico Corners as another option. Thanks!
We just ordered some custom roman shades from http://www.selectblinds.com/index.aspx
They were semi reasonably priced and look great!
