Lunch for 30 people. Any recommendations?
Can you recommend lunch items that I can make for 30 people? It's for a baptism.
Thanks for much!
Re: Lunch for 30 people. Any recommendations?
It really all depends on how much you want to do.
Super simple - different deli meats and cheeses with rolls, bread, and condiments. Chips, potato/pasta salad, green salad.
More involved - pulled pork or chicken in the crock pot. meatballs in the crock pot. a taco or fajita bar.
Married / The Cookaholic Wife
We have a variety of people: young kids all the way to old people!
I need more formal foods. I know I'm serving a Honeybaked ham.
Other than that, I have no clue!
I've done more of a brunch style buffet for this type of crowd. Everybody will come in right from church and be looking to eat quicky.
The ham is a perfect choice (leave out to get to room temp while you are at church)
Homemade mac & cheese, mixed green or caesar salad with rolls and butter, a casserole like broccoli or something like that, big dish of cut up fruit salad, maybe a pasta salad and bagels with different types of cream cheese. Make it all the night before and heat in the oven on a low temp while you are at church and have the salad and fruit in ziplock baggies in the firdge ready to be put in a dish.
