The filling was light...not like cool-whip light, but not gritty like icing.  There was a thin layer of icing on the top, covered in crumbled pieces of oreo.

That is not the least bit tempting to me. I am a doughnut purist, my favorite is a good cake with chocolate icing or a nice cinnamon swirl

I am with Kris on this one - give me both donuts and oreos but not together.  Kind of like dessert and booze.  I love both but not liquor-flavored dessert.

Oh man...if DH sees this he will be at Dunkin Donuts later today. Donutes and oreos are probably two of his favorite things in the world, and for him to know they are now combined could be disastrous . ;-)
