Sharing my living room progress PIP

I made some big changes in my living room.

To this:

I'm very happy with the changes, but do need some help with the accessories. I was planning to do bold blues, bold pinks, black and white. But, this rug came in looking much more blue-gray than the charcoal I thought it was going to be. So I thought modern bold lines and colors would work, but this has much more of a softer feel(if that makes sense?). So any tips on good accent colors or ideas?

Aspen Gray by Valspar but I had it mixed in Olympic One.

Looks great!!

Even though the rug may be softer than you intended, it still looks pretty bold (large pattern and darker color than everything else) in the picture. I think I would do bold throw pillows and accessories...they will balance out the rug really well.

I love that rug, and it complements the wall color really nicely. The room is looking great as is. You could do a lighter pink if you still wanted to use pink, but I agree that a bold pink might jar a bit.

Amazing how a new paint color and rug can transform a room! As for accent colors, I like that raspberry color in the toss pillow. I also love shades of oranges with blues/greys.

I agree with this. I think that fuschia pillow looks amazing in it. Maybe more of that color? Or jewel tones in general? Looks great.
