This JUST happened...

So I'm sitting at my desk enjoying a wonderful lunch break of perusing the forums. When a man walks in from a courier service to pick up a package, yelling into his phone. The woman on the other line was also screaming and yelling to the point that I could hear full sentences...

I had to get the man to sign something before taking the package with him and he didn't even get off the phone. That was SUPER uncomfortable.

Ugh I hate seeing people come into buildings on their cell phones and expect to get the best service even if they're ignoring you or being obnoxious. I always put my cell phone away or at least tell the person I'm talking to to hold on when I am around other people.

I currently work retail and this is the story of my life when I have to help out on register. The customer comes up, throws all their sh-t down without saying a word to you, and continues their conversation, completely ignoring any of my questions (do you have a [store] card? would you like a bag? etc). I just stop talking at that point because it's so obnoxious.

When I worked fast food in college, I hated when a customer comes up to the DT speaker and makes me hold why they finish a phone conversation. Meanwhile the line behind them is getting longer. It gets really frustrating how rude people are when they are talking on their cell.
