College playoff system

Any thoughts on this? I am against it. It is going to give three major conferences an automatic bid (SEC, BIG TEN and WHO??) and one at large to have four teams play in the "playoffs". So, for instance, if Alabama and Auburn or Ohio State and Michigan are #1 and #2 they can't play for a championship, and therefore, we don't really get the champion out of that game.

I personally am ALL for it. I just wish it was a bigger playoff and not limited to 4 teams. Look at #1 and #2 last year.. how crappy of a NC gme was that?

I agree and I dont even think I watched it. But being an Ohio State fan I feel like its taking away from other big bowls, like the Rose Bowl which is hugely important to us, and like I said we may not actually see #1 and 2 play each other, or even 3 and 4 if they are the same conference. Its going to be decided by a panel much like the basketball tournament, but they can only pick 4 teams! How do we know we are getting the real championship?

Really, though... I haven't looked a whole lot into it. So, all I know is that I feel it's a year too late for my team!
I think I'd like to see how it's going to play out for a year or two. But, I do know that I wish it were more than just 4 teams. I was under the impression that it will be a playoff that includes the top 4 team, rankings wise. It's not?
