Just saying..

Tons of people I work with talk about their kids. They haven't said 1 thing yet that makes me want to give birth to children. I am loving life the way it is.

  • I love when people do nothing but say negative things about their kids then wonder why you dont have them and tell them, "its so worth it".  Is it really?  You just told me you were up all night with a sick kid, your kids are making you broke and you and your husband have been fighting since you had kids.  Hmm...so worth it.

LOL!!! They want us to feel their pain. Uh, I can see it just fine from here.

  • DH and I always have to laugh. Some folks tell us "oh you want to have them early so that you'll still be young when they get out of the house. And then others are like, oh you want to wait so you have plenty of time without them now where you can enjoy being young.  Not much good is ever said. Its like...if the point of waiting is to enjoy  time without them, and the point of not waiting is to enjoy getting them out of the house...maybe we should just skip the whole thing altogether. :)

    LOL good point!

Working retail and seeing other people's spoiled and/or misbehaving children is great birth control.

Umm this is my thought ALL the time!  And then I hear about all the fabulous things couples without children do...oh, you just got back from 2 weeks in Europe?  You just bought your dream house/car/boat?

I'm a dentist.  People hate to come see me.  Except for stay at home moms, who have a relaxed look on their face and talk about how glorious an hour or two away from home & the kids is.  Like a shot in the mouth and me drilling on their tooth is a damn spa visit for them.  Definitely makes you think...
