Rec an OB please

Just found out we are expecting #2 in 8 months (also have a 17 month old).  I'm looking for an OB who supports VBAC.  I am thinking about going to Women's Health Services, and would prefer not to go the The Iowa Clinic.  I will also be attending the ICAN meeting on the 3rd to start collecting more info.  TIA!

I really liked Dr. Erin Lehman at Lakeview OB in WDM. I saw her through the last month of my pregnancy since we moved to town just a month before my due date and she delivered my first daughter but we ended in a CS. At my follow up we discussed my desire for VBAC for my next and she was VERY supportive.  She also provided me with names of docs in Iowa City that were supportive since we will likely be delivering our next baby in Iowa City. I have heard some complaints that not all in the practice are as supportive, but it would just have to be something that you would discuss with the practice.

You mentioned no Iowa clinic so my rec will not be what your looking for but I saw dr Houghton at Iowa clinic. He is so sweet, thorough and honest.

I love Women's Health Services. Dr Hansen delivered my son and she was amazing. Dr Gabel is incredibly kind and knowledgeable.

I had a VBAC and went to Methodist Plaza ObGyn.  I really like their practice.
