new classroom decorating...
So I found out that I had to change classrooms for next year, and my new classroom is MUCH smaller than my old room. : ( I teach K-5 general music and I just keep telling myself, at least I have a job, and least I have a classroom...
Now, I'm on a mission to decorate my classroom and make it modern and fabulous. I found this lamp at Target which was my inspiration:
I bought a simple white barrel shade with a matching green ribbon around the top and bottom.
Now I'm going over the top... My new Victoria Ghost chair arrived this week and my new Dash and Albert green diamond pattern rug arrived. I've found an old mirror that I'm painting glossy orange and I'm painting all of my bookcases a glossy white.
I'm still looking for fun white mounted shelves to put some puppets, pictures and nicknacks on. I found some fun office accessories at the Container Store.
Any suggestions for where to find funky white wall mounted shelves? I'm guessing they should be 6" deep...
