In my living room I have a 90 inch window sill that is broken up into 3 windows. Perpendicular to that is another window of the same size. So 4 windows in an L shape. The window sill has no depth- only 3/4". So it's impossible to install regular blinds.I am not a fan of vertical blinds. It wouldn't look right with our style.
Also, because the window is so long, if I hang curtains I have to buy several panels. 4 for the long windows and 2 for the 4th. I don't want the curtains to look taut when I close them so I have doubled up cheap Target curtains. I have Ikea roller blinds in now for privacy but they are temporaries.
I really want roman shades. I like that they can be mounted above the frame, which suits my needs. But, would it look silly to have 3 separate Roman shades across the big window? I think the other option is one 90" roman shade which seems crazy.
TIA
Re: Another roman shades Q. WWYD?
I think it depends on the fabric you choose, what is flanking the windows in terms of furniture and whether or not there are window molding/casing in between the 3 consecutive windows or not.
If there isn't much in terms of molding in between the 3 windows, I don't think a 90" roman shade would look crazy. Here are a few examples:

Another idea is to do two shades over the three windows, like so:

But if there is a pretty substantial break between windows, I'd do individual shades, perhaps in a natural/burlap fabric or a bamboo shade with a fabric valance over top.
