Do we have any underwriters on this board?
I have a question about something and our LO doesn't seem to know anything.....
We filled our tax return before the deadline. We JUST got a letter from them (last Monday) saying we forgot to send in one form. We are supposed to close in a 2 weeks, and now we can't because the IRS hasn't filled anything yet. DH is at the IRS office and is getting a stamped letter stating that our filed return and all info is correct. Will this work so we can close on time? Or will they need to wait the 6-8 weeks until they can pull the transcript from the IRS?
