Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner for color-treated hair?
Any recs? I have long hair...Every 7 weeks I get it highlighted and twice a year all over color. It tends to be on the oily side (I have to wash it every day). I I usually blow dry with a round brush for body. Right now I'm using Aveda Color Conserve shampoo and conditioner, and for products Aveda phomollient, volumizng tonic and smooth infusion.
Any volumizing product recs appreciated too!
Thanks!
Re: Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner for color-treated hair?
My hair stylist told me to avoid "color-treated" shampoos/conditioners and just go for something meant for daily use.
I would recommend a beauty store brand. Salon shampoos/conditioners not only clean your hair better, but you use less per wash. I have really long, thin hair. I wash every other day with a daily cleansing shampoo/conditioner. Try Iso. It's super light and even the conditioner doesn't weigh my hair down.
If you have a Beauty Brands nearby, head over there and talk to one of the consultants. Right now, they are having their liter sale so you can get 1 liter bottles of most brands for $12.98 a bottle. Mine last me almost a year!
After using lots of products, I think the best thing for colored hair is Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Shampoo. It cleanses and nourishes hair, restores damaged strands back to health and provides color protection, plus it leaves my hair soft, silky and shiny.
Argan oil is just incredible for healthy hair and it's all the craze right now, but out of all the brands I prefer the Pro Naturals because they don't use sulfates, parabens or phosphates which is just fantastic.

It's under $15 a liter right now.
