ATL - BFF/Mommy Getaway
Hi local ATL Nesties. I'm from Minneapolis, MN. My BFF is from Richmond, VA. We need some recs for a place to go for a realxing girls-only mommy getaway in or nearby Atlanta. A 1-2 hour (max) drive is okay too.
Recs for early January 2013.
Looking for places that fall into any of these descriptors: low-key, quiet, quaint, spa, nature, antiquing, historical, local shopping, peaceful.
No night life needed.

Chateau Elan Spa & Winery - it has a resort and is close to outlet mall shopping in Commerce
North Georgia Wine Country - near Dahlonega which has a square, there are some cute B&Bs or cabin type places. There are quite a few wineries and it's close to the north georgia premium outlets and some nice hiking
