So angry I can't see straight
I just found out BIL and SIL decided they couldn't afford their cats anymore, so they took them to the shelter! Our shelter is notorius for putting animals to sleep quickly. I am a huge cat lover, and DH and I would have taken these two in without a thought and tried to find them good homes, but they didn't want anyone to know what they were doing. Why don't people freakin think? Now I have to try and talk the shelter into giving the cats to me without having to pay for them!

Poor babies--I hope that you are able to get them back!!
Oh, but they kept the new puppy. I think because it was new and shiny, it got to stay. The cats were about 6 years old, so they aren't cute and fun anymore.
let us know how it turns out...i really hope you can get the babies... that is so sad
