3 great websites when deciding on where to live...
1. walkscore.com - rates most american cities on a scale of 1-100 of it's walkability.
2. bestplaces.com - look up a city and you will get info on everything from home prices to crime (on a scale of 1-5, 5 being the worst), to demographics to schools.
3. education.com - enter a city (or school) and find out how it rates on test scoring (which isn't always a great indicator of how good a school is but there are also reviews from actual parents)
What did people do before the internet?

Thanks for sharing! I think these all apply to neighborhoods within cities as well. I know walkscore.com does!
