Converting a 3 prong dryer plug to 4 prong
Has anyone had to convert a 3 prong dryer plug to a 4 prong one? The house we just moved in to is relatively new and thus has a 4 prong socket. DH thinks we need to call an electrician, but when I did some research, I learned you can buy a kit from Home Depot that allows you to convert it yourself and is really simple. I'm pretty handy around the house and think I could do it. Any thoughts?
