Stove Placement Question
I just bought awesome kitchen cabinets at Habitat for a rental kitchen that we are having to redo. Their configuration leaves me with two options for the stove. I can either put it at the end of a run of cabinets (there will be countertop to the right but not left of the stove) and have a free standing island
or
I can have the stove next to a corner cabinet and have the island extend from this corner cabinet.
The other factor is that the island (either attached or free standing) will be a complimentary color to the cabinets b/c I will have to have faces made for the back of the cabinet that will now be exposed. The cabinets are a light yellow and there is no way I will be able to match it for the island.
