Hey fellow nesties! I used to lurk around this board quite a bit back when I was first getting divorced, and everyone was SUPER helpful and wonderful, so I thought I'd check back in and share my latest venture, hoping it might be helpful to some of you
Once I got back into dating after divorce - and trust me, it took a while - my dating stories were so hilarious that my friends made me start a blog. http://dumbfoundeddivorcee.blogspot.com
I would LOVE some advice on what you ladies think - I know that most people on here know good writing, so please feel free to write back and let me know your honest opinions! Here are the first 3 posts that I wrote:

Thank you so much ladies! I appreciate it!
Re: From divorce to dating...
Don't solicit. That is what this is.
And dating SUCKS.
If you think you're going to meet The Perfect Man and be remarried in no time soon, forgeddaboutdit... and I have dating stories that'll raise your hair, then disintegrate it. Big deal.
The design is VERY hard on the eyes. Black writing is usually recommended. All the colors and super contrasting back ground makes it difficult to read. If your willing to fix it then change it and send me a private message on this site and I will check out your blog. People REALLY hate the soliciting here. Even if it's just for innocent feedback.
And for the record I love blogs lol.
Thanks for the responses! I actually really appreciate it... I have never given the site to anyone other than a friend, so I was curious about the interest of strangers, especially those who might relate with the message, which made me think of people on these boards. Didn't realize the bad response from some would happen or that people would think I was soliciting for something (for the record, my blog earns me NOTHING, so no soliciting would help me achieve anything! lol)
But I really appreciate the helpful feedback - it's true that a blog is mostly for the person writing it, so I will probably stick with sharing it with friends only! Thanks
I often enjoy reading blogs but not on a regular basis.
Dating is fun! The whole point of dating is to meet new people and broaden your horizons a bit. If you're divorced, you already know what you DON'T want.
Enjoy yourself while you're straightening your life out and setting goals for yourself.
