Birthday party for the DH!

Every year that DH and I have been together I throw him a party of sorts. Previously it's been going to dinner with friends because we have two dogs and we were in a small apartment. We just moved into a smaller house and I made arrangements to send the large dog to camp overnight and the small one will be fine at home. I am looking for ideas for finger type foods for the event. I think we should have between 10-15 people. I wasn't planning on doing a full dinner as we are still in a smaller space and we have a small stove. No grill, though I am buying him one for his birthday. Anyone have any ideas or cheap, easy, ideas for foods. I have found a cute watermellon hedgehog thing that I'm going to make.

Summer sausage, cheese, and crackers

Beer-cheese dip

Cowboy caviar

Bacon-cream cheese-jalapeno crescent bites

Tortilla pinwheels/roll-ups

Mini pork tenderloin (make-ahead) or pulled pork (crock-pot) sandwiches

Lemon squares

Brownies

There's probably too much cheese in this menu to use exactly as I've typed it out, but it's a starting point.

Not really finger food, but a taco bar can be easy as you can throw the meat in a crockpot and just set out the fixins.  (or maybe serve with nachos - depends if people have to balance a plate or have a place to sit).

Otherwise cucumber sandwiches, pizza rolls, chips & guac.

It will be very casual, if we could get away with it, we would just have drinks but I want stuff for people to eat. We are starting at about 6:30 pm so around dinner time. People will have to balance a plate and drink, we have some seating but not a ton, we recently talked about getting a grill before the day and having hotdogs and burgers because that is easy.

I think buying the grill early and grilling for the party would be great.  The grilled chicken recipe I posted down in Bring It On is always a hit - it's really tasty.  If you slice the chicken into tenders, it'll cook more quickly and make better party food.
