Is it sad that I was hoping for tabloid fodder for my reading enjoyment for a little longer?

I'm amazed they've settled already.

I just think it confirms the rumors that this was a set up to begin with and once 5 yrs hit she was free to file for divorce and there was a pre-negotiated settlement to sign. That whole "sole custody" thing was crap.  There was no way she was going to prove that he wasn't fit to have partial custody (at least) unless she put scientology on trial and there was no way she could/would do that. 

The big question is.... who will be #4!

Sheila, I agree 100% with the custody angle. He may be a little crazy, but in no way do I feel that he could be shown to be an unfit father in order to not have some form of legal custody of his daughter. I think Katie could have possibly gotten primary physical custody, but not full legal custody.

 

Jen, I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one enjoying all the trashy articles on this subject.

You are not alone, I was so hoping for some extra celebrity gossip on this!  I agree, the fact that they settled so quickly definitely proves that there was some type of contract on their marriage...either that or she caught him in bed with John Travolta.

HAHAHA One of my former colleagues, who is gay, posted on FB the day of the divorce something along the lines of, "DUH! We all know that he is gay!" and my mind automatically went to Travolta, too!
