do all window treatments in a room have to match?
i know there are no "rules" and you can do whatever you want in your own home, but i'm trying to figure out the window treatments in our bedroom, and I was short 2 panels (brought from out old place) so I put a valance on the remaining window. The 2 windows with the matching panels are on one wall, and the single window with the valance is on the other. Thoughts?

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
You are speaking of drapery panels? What kind of valance? I think it will work short term but at some point you probably should make all the panels the same.
