Weight Watchers, anyone?

Since my weight hasn't budged in 5+months with the techniques (journaling, etc) that I was doing, I decided to try the Weight Watchers Online.

Is anyone here doing that?  I just hear people having so much success on it, I figure why not try it.

I've lost 21 lbs so far on WW.  I think a few of us have had success on it.

  • I go to meetings because I can't just have online support - I need the group support.  I've lost 51 pounds :) in just under a year.

So far I am down about 14 pounds in 4 months. A bit slow, but fine given that I can't find time to work out right now. I really think you should go to meetings in the first month though. The program really works but it is complicated and I think the meetings realy help. I go every 2 weeks now and track my "points" with the smart phone app.

  • I love WW! I recommend it to all my friends, and it really helps me stay on track. What's good for me is that it's not about depriving yourself (which causes binges) and you get some flexibility in the amount of food you eat in a week, making it okay to go out for dinner a couple times or have a nice little ice cream treat every day. I also like that you get points for working out, so if you're burning a lot of calories you can have those points "back" to eat more when you need it. And the tips/tricks are great. I have also only met helpful, sweet, supportive people through the program, and everyone wants everyone else to succeed. It's a very nice system!
  • I love WW!  I started the program before meeting DH, lost 60lbs, and reached my goal last summer.  We were married in November and I'm glad I was at my goal for the wedding.  Now I work for the company and have been in maintenance mode since last summer.
  • I have lost 47 lbs. on it, and am about 15 lbs. away from my ultimate goal. It worked great for me and was so realistic given my lifestyle. Also trains you to eat more quality food that will give you energy. Highly recommend it!
