Other than facewash or makeup do you use any other products for your face? Lotions, creams, etc. What do you use and what does it "do?"
I'm looking to add something else to my routine that pampers my skin a bit aside from regular moisturizer. I'd like to hear what products you love!

Re: Products for your face
Eye cream: Kinerase C8 Peptide Under Eye (puffiness & dark circles)
Serum: Lancome Genefique (helps promote cell renewal)
Moisturizer: Vichy Aqualia Thermal Cream (super hydrating)
Nighttime: tarte Maracuja Oil (honestly... I'm not sure, but I love my skin in the morning after using it)
I've used a lot of different eye creams and moisturizers, and I like the Kinerase one a lot. Though Boscia makes one that I might switch to next. For a weekly treatment, I also do a peel... either Exuviance AP25 Glycolic Peel or Juice Beauty Sensitve Apple Peel.
Sometimes when my skin gets really dry, mostly in the wintertime, I'll use Kinerase Hydraboost. There is a TON of hyaluronic acid in it, which is a moisture magnet. Works miracles when I'm dry.
i use a grainy scrub 2-3 times a week. makes my skin soft!
My heart is as open as the sky.
Read about it on the blog
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
What kind of skin to you have?
My skin completely changed after the baby, and I'm still trying out a lot of products to figure it out. I'm suddenly showing lots of signs of aging so I've added tons of moisturizing products. Eye creams have gotten really important in my life!
Eye Creams: philosophy Hope in a Tube-nice, but really heavy and full of mineral oil. I'm not completely sure how I feel about it; hated the philosophy Dark Shadows--too light
Clarisonic--eh. It feels nice in the shower, but it's not life changing for me. It just exfoliates. I still have visible pores and a handful of blackheads in the usual places (chin, nose). I can't recommend the purchase, but the Oil of Olay version is like $30 and would be a nice pampering purchase.
I'll be honest with you... I'm not too crazy about philosophy. I was really into them for a while, and I think it's a great intro to skincare brand. However, my skin and philosophy are not friends. Purity Made Simple makes me itchy, and Hope in a Jar doesn't really do much of anything for me.
Mrs. Riker--have you tried Bliss? They have an eye cream that's around the same price as Hope in a Tube. It's called "Fabulous Eye Cream" and it's pretty nice. That's what I used until I switched to Kinerase. I needed something that treated puffiness a bit more.
I'm kind of addicted to face products... On the lowerish end, I really like the Boots line that Target carries- I use their Redness Relief Gel every day (starting to get a little rosecea going on) and I like their Radiance Beauty Balm (kind of a light, general moisturizer). I'm pretty sure both are under $20.
I bounce around on eye products a lot- Right now I'm using Caudalie's Premier Cru Eye Cream, and it's pretty nice.
I also use Jurlique's Herbal Recovery Serum after washing at night- It feels nice and fresh and not greasy.
I'm also a big fan of argan oil- Most nights that's what I use before bed.
Re: Clarisonic- Proceed with caution. I heard so many great things about it, but then it ended up pretty much destroying my face. It certainly got it clean, but it also ended up drying me out and causing acne. If you get one, make sure you can return it just in case : )
Other than moisturizer, I use an anti-aging eye cream and serum every morning and before bed (Elizabeth Arden). I exfoliate once a week, and use a Sephora brand face mask about every 2 weeks.
My newest addition to my skin routine is my Too Faced BB Cream, blends really well, has SPF 30 and a nice tint/glow to it. I love it!
I buy most of my products from Sephora because it's so easy to return something even after you've used it a few times. I bought a facial peel a while back and after 1 use my skin was painfully dry and while I was in there buying something else, they told me to bring it back in, no questions asked.
Facial cleanser I use aveno foaming cleanser
Eye makeup remover: Bi-facil (the best remover I have ever found)
Toner: Tonique
Serum (morning): Genifique (evens skin tone and gives your skin a lit from within quality)
Serum (evening): Visionaire (Minimizes pores, wrinkles and skin texture)
Eye cream (morning): Genifique eye (minimizes dark circles and puffyness)
Eye cream (evening): High resolution 5x (minimizes fine lines/beginning signs of aging)
Moisturizer (day/night): High resolution 5x with spf 15 (minimizes fine lines/beginning signs of aging)
all products I use are from lancome except my facial cleanser
I am on my phone so forgive lack of formatting:
Kiehls avocado eye cream - love this for night time eye pampering
Organic 100 % argan oild for my hair and skin when necessary or when extra moisture is needed like when I blow dry my hair
L'Occitane almond milk concentrate - love the smell and the no greasy but moisturized feeling for body cream
Those are my faves and first came to mind when reading this post. Hope this helps!
