Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

How long after putting meat in the fridge to marinade does it stay good?
I know it seems like a strange question but I just got back after a short trip and DH left some pork chops marinading in the refrigerator (since LAST Thursday!) The marinade had olive oil, garlic, red wine vinegar, etc. Can we still eat it? I hate to see it go to waste but I would hate more to get sick!

I would toss it. Even if it wasn't in the marinade it has been a week. Plus, vinegar acts as a tenderizer so that meat isn't going to taste that good
