Another Fun Poll

I guess we can do these bi-weekly or something. There just isn't enough traffic to support a 'daily' poll.[Poll]

Re: Another Fun Poll

  • We love our home, neighborhood, and neighbors!!!
  • We own our own home but we don't love it. We don't love the house, or our neighbors, but we are kinda stuck here now... so we are just tyring to make the best of it. Of course we loved it when we bought it, but now it's too small and things are going wrong that we can't afford to fix, but I guess all homeowners go through things like that.

  • We are renting a townhome, so it's kind of like renting but kind of like owning....We are in the process of moving now, but I can tell you in about 2 years how it all worked out when we (hopefully) buy!!

  • We purchased our townhouse the month before the wedding.  It was in a city that we had never been in before, but its close (~20 miles) from where we both grew up.  We love the town.  The house- we go back and forth between loving it and hating it.  Mostly because it was built in the 70's and still has some original features.  The features that were updated (like the floors/baseboards, etc) were done DIY by the previous owners to be as cheap as possible- so there are huge gaps in the floors, etc.

We did just buy laminate floors and a new door for the bathroom reno we're in the middle of, and while we're also DIYing it, we are willing to put the money and time in to do it right.  So hopefully, once we finish the floors and the bathroom (and buy new doors to match for the upstairs) we'll love the house!
